I’M JUST A
DESIGNER
WHO LOVES
WHAT HE DOES.

A little instinct. A lot of curiosity.
Ideas that refuse to sit still.

OBSERVE & BE CURIOUS

I get curious both when something doesn’t quite work and when it looks perfect. That’s usually where I start looking.

WHEN THERE’S NO
I MAKE ONE. I BORROW TOOLS, BREAK METHODS,
BUILD WHAT’S MISSING AND TURN WHATEVER
I HAVE INTO WHAT I
DESIGN ISN’T ABOUT HAVING THE RIGHT TOOL.
IT’S ABOUT FINDING A

NO STRAIGHT LINES BETWEEN DISCIPLINES. JUST POSSIBILITIES. ↗

I'm daydreaming.
I'm designing something.

GOOD DESIGN
MAKES YOU
LOOK TWICE.

MOVE YOUR CURSOR. KEEP YOUR EYES OPEN.

AN OPEN LETTER

Make room
for the
unexpected.

I believe the most interesting things happen when we stop staying in our lane.

I’m Leonardo, a design student working between visual and product design, with a growing interest in what I do. I’m building my practice while studying, but most of what I learn doesn’t stay at university for long. I take new skills, tools, and ideas and immediately test them through personal projects, experiments, and things I simply want to make.

I learn by making. Sometimes I know exactly where I’m going. Other times I start with a question, get my hands dirty, and figure out the tools I need along the way.

This portfolio brings together a selection of projects and experiments that reflect the way I think and work. Different disciplines often overlap, feeding each other and opening up new ways of making. I’m still figuring out what kind of designer I’ll become. I think that’s the interesting part.

If you have something in mind — something ambitious, unusual, or not quite figured out — I’d love to hear about it. Let’s see where it takes us.

Leonardo.
